Introducing yourself

In many situations people have to introduce themselves. When doing so, do not forget that the age is expressed in English with the verb “to be”.

So, always say: “I am 35 years old”.

Never say: “I have 35 years old”, the same we say in Romanian: “Am 35 de ani”.

Many beginners mistake these verbs, sometimes other students, too, because they have fluency and do not mind the details.
